Print and Online Media
Description
This is a small sample of printed and digital media I have created while working at Ovadia Corporation. The function of many of these resources are instructional in nature to educate customers and potential customers about the intricacies of Ovadia's product lines. Included in this section also highlight a few resources created for the Teacher Pay Teachers platform.
Tools Used
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Canva, CorelDraw, Photography.
Role
Marketing Director, Graphic Arts, Web Development, Copywriting, SME.
In the process of creating product catalogs and instructional materials for jewelry displays, we first set clear objectives and identified my target audience. My team and I captured high-quality images of the displays, which we then enhanced using software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and CorelDRAW to ensure a polished look. Maintaining a consistent visual identity, we carefully balanced typography, color schemes, and branding elements throughout the materials.
In the layout design, we strategically arranged product images, descriptions, and prices to create a visually appealing flow, creating a range of catalogs using Adobe InDesign. For the instructional materials, we crafted user-friendly guides that offered step-by-step instructions for customizing, caring for, and making the most of the displays.
A thorough review process ensured that all content was accurate and clear. As I shared these resources, I actively sought feedback to refine my work. Moreover, I capitalized on the designed content to conduct engaging training sessions, empowering jewelers with comprehensive insights into the optimal use of the displays. Through this comprehensive approach, I not only showcased the jewelry displays effectively but also provided valuable educational resources that fostered a deeper understanding among product users.
The teaching resources were more small passion projects I thought would be fun to make. I have created a collection of themed short poetry books aimed at aiding students to develop their ability to find meaning in poems. These books offer a range of poems along with diverse interpretations and insights that go with each poem, helping students to understand the subjective nature of poetry. The crossword puzzles are integrated into various themes, exploring subjects such as history, culture, and a diverse array of topics. These classroom resource were made largely independently using Canva, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
